Hey! Welcome to my site. My name is Canute and I'm a data guy with 3 years of experience in data modeling, data administration, and engineering solutions for both transactional processing and analytical processing systems. I'm currently an employee of SafePoint MGA, a P&C company operating in the Gulf states, and while my background is in insurance my skills are industry agnostic as I rely on a strong set of data fundamentals as my guide.

All of my professional RMS experience has been with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure serverless databases. That said, I'm a huge fan of open source products and self-hosting, hence I have several personal projects in development built upon on-prem PostgreSQL.
